I've been shooting wildlife for more than twenty years now, but it has been a tight rope walking, where as finances are concerned. About two months ago a friend of mine, who normally shoots with me, made a plan to visit Masai Mara to shoot migration. Since I couldn't afford that cost, I didn't even think about it.
It so happened that, on more than four times after that, I had a dream that I was shooting in Africa. When told my wife about it, she joked that until my friend comes back from Africa, I would keep on dreaming. Soon, I forgot about it.
Just couple of days back, I received a call from another friend, who was leading a photo safari to Mara. He had couple of cancellations, he offered me a trip at bout half the cost. Soon I'll be off to Africa for my first trip for a week.
I have never seen a herd of more than say 200 Deers or 100 Elephants, so don't know how my senses would react to many animals during migration.
Meanwhile, do give me some input, which you think can be useful. It would be highly appreciated!
