Snowy Egret
Captured this snowy egret scaring up fish this morning at Belmar. These birds are quite entertaining as they attempt to scare up fish. Thanks for looking.

And the same egret admiring his reflection!

The first has some great animation. It reminds me of a policemand directing traffic. Exposure looks good on the white feathered egret.

What Doug said about #1, and I love the reflection and the reflected beak just touching the real one in #2. What timing!
Excellent light with both. He shoots, he scores! Thanks a million for sharing these with us, Dan.

Great stuff Dan! That first one looks like the Snowy is walking on water! I always seem to forget about that place, but should visit sometime soon. Good work!! :toast:

Incredible timing in #2, perfect. What a pose in #1! The blurred reflected colors in both are beautiful.

Both of these are astounding. Egrets appear graceful, even if it looks like they're walking on water!
