Slot canyon Iceland style
Followed a large stream through a slot canyon crossing several times trying to stay dry. Climbed up and over a small falls and followed the stream to the end where we discovered these un-named falls in a small opening. This was shot with my back to the wall. Hand blended 3 exposures to capture the entire dynamic range.

D3x, 16-35 @ 16mm, ISO-50, f11 and a CP.

A fair bit of hard work and technical shooting to accomplish this great shot! What a gorgeous falls! The nuances in the greens come out nicely in your processing. Congrats on both the adventure and the image!

Gorgeous. This looks like PNW, but you mentioned Iceland (as a metaphor, or was this really in Iceland)? Great job with the blend.

It's in Iceland Marylynne. The areas with water were quite green in Iceland.

Beautiful Douglas! I like the comp, colors and detail. And beautiful spot.

This does look like home! (Okay, maybe it needs a couple ferns.) Simple yet beautiful Douglas. Perfect shutter for the water, and the greens are very nice.

As John said, simple and beautiful shot Douglas. And yes, I thought it was the Gorge!
