Another little slice of the woods....probably quite as compelling as the last but I like it....also I'm starting to try correcting the yellow cast from my scanner, any input welcome, this is the result from just boosting the blue output from the scanner.....
Thanks in advance for all comments & guidance.

I agree, your previous post held my interest much better. In this one, the large void created by the dark trunks of the larger trees pulls my eye away fromt he rest of the scene. Would it be possible to dodge a little more detail into those dark trunks? The overall magenta cast is a little distracting as well.
Can't say I'd buy it, Eric, but I like looking at it. Actually, I'd like to see a print. The one dark area is pretty large and dark though.

Large, dark and slightly blue cast on the backside of those Maples. The scanner is not handling contrasts like it should. I'm convinced there is some detail there you could pull out of the original. Good job correcting the magenta/red cast on this one apparent in your other posts. Sharpening the image for the web still leaves much to be desired.
Thanks all. Marc, thanks for your offer in my previous post, I'm looking now for one that would be good to work with, I'll zip one to you in the next few days.

Sure Eric. I'm know we can find a way to get the most out of your slides. It just takes time and practice. Just to let you know, I'm leavind mid-day Monday and will be gone shooting the SW for two weeks.
