It has been really bad SW of Houston. Remember, I posted some photos of the falling leaves in June? Well, everybody out here in the "country" including me, has at least one burn pile getting larger and larger as we lose trees. Thank goodness, we still have plenty of water in the aquifer that feeds our well. As, I am watering pastures and trees as much as possible!
I am concerned about the birds around here. Plenty of most species. But I haven't seen my red shouldered hawks in months. At about the same time, they disappeared.....huge crows showed up . the crows have not left. The last time I saw a hawk....it was being chased by a crow! I hope the crows will go away, when it decides to rain!!!
