Sunset at the gulch-with re-post
Took this last night at Mayflower Gulch. All the clouds disappeared but still got some nice light on the peaks.

This is just plain gorgeous, Jack. One of the best columbine images I've seen this summer. Congratulations!
The clear blue skies are actually quite complementary to the scene, IMO.
Were this mine, I believe I would burn down the entire rocky slope in the midground to provide more visual separation between that beautifully lit mountain ridge and the flowers. Nice to see some wildflowers hangin' in there still.
Excellent work!

Love the sweet light on the wall, and I agree with JM regarding burning down the mid-ground.

Wonderful composition. I also agree with the mid-ground burning, but to my eyes the entire image looks around 1 stop overexposed too: the columbine too white, the glow in the mountain too weak. Darkening everything just a little would make the colors pop even more.

Love the columbines in the foreground. Great light on the mountain as well.
