If anyone is interested...

As I think even Jim can probably attest to, I'm a bit, uh...opinionated. My wife can attest to that as well. She has had it with me writing letters to the editor, given that she's the one who answers the phone and gets the mail, and thus ends up getting the brunt of any negative feedback. So, I thought a different outlet for my angst might be the ticket. Hence my entry into the blogosphere.

Opinionated, but I do like a good debate! All are welcome!

Welcome to the world of blogging. It is a fine way to unload personal frustration and have some control over your role in public discourse. I started my first web site primarily as a way to voice my positions on bird photography when I had a hard time being heard here and elsewhere. And I've done a couple of unadvertised blogs in the past to express my strong political opinions: Life in Decline (which I did anonymously and eventually deleted after it had made me feel better); and Postcards from AZ (where I post my shots of the crazier things I see here in the land of Joe Arpaio and Russell Pearce).

I've been careful for the most part in keeping my progressive views off my Wordpress blog, but that might change now that you are following in the footsteps of our own Wickersham's Conscience.
