Mt Evans Pika
Went up to Mt Evans recently. The goats were a bit lazy and mostly layer around. I took some shots, but not very action packed, so bought I would share some of my favorite little critters...the pika.

The first one is the "basic" morning Pika pose

Nice! I can never seem to get close enough to get good shots of pikas, Which lens did you use for these?

Very nice Kurt! Love the last image with the vegetation. May have to go up there this weekend to get some of these guys.

Great collection! The caption on the second one is perfect.

The caption for the second was exactly what I was thinking before I read it. I like the pose and the catchlight in the first, the fourth one looks like me at the dinner table. I didn't know what the red thing was in the third until the caption told me, also I think there is some dust spots in the upper left. Very nice series.

Another great collection!
Thanks for the compliment on my lily post...you also are getting better and better.
What would you do without your 500mm lens?

Good set, sharp, and light in the eye. I like most the first with the traditional profile.

Wonderful photos Kurt! I really like the shhhhh one! You must had lots of patience to come back with shots like that.

Outstanding work yet again! I like each and every one equally. I'll never get close enought to view one of these critters this close, so I really appreciate your sharing these here!

Too cute! I couldn't get anywhere near close enough to a pika for shots like these when I was up at Blue Lakes end of July. The marmots cooperated though!
