Bride of San Juans Hodgepodge
Here's part 2 of Epic Week in the San Juans. Here's a shot of clearing clouds around Dragon's Back and Coxcomb Peak, as seen from the east approach to Engineer Pass.

#2: Clouds form around San Juan peaks after monsoon rains begin to move on, if only temporarily. Eagle-eyed viewers will note that that's Windom and Sunlight peaks on the distant skyline just left of center.

Beautiful, and I learned what a tarn was.

#7 and #8 are my favorites here, especially that beautiful light in #8. You sure do have a knack for finding the low-hanging clouds!

Beautiful images Todd. It was definately a great year to go to the San Juans.

I can't catch a cloud or fog if I try on my latest outings, going to have to invest in some photoshop clouds brushes! #7, #8 and #9 are my top picks, very nice job sir! :toast:

Amazing work, Todd! You're the luckiest guy I know when it comes to photogenic weather conditions, but these images owe more to your skills over luck. My favorites are #'s 3 & 8 with that sweet light.

Damn, I'd be happy as hell to have shot any one of these. Excellent imagery!

Great stuff, Todd, #3 and #7 are my favorites.

If having to choose, 2, 3, 7 & 9 would be chosen. Eldorado Lake looks like it would be nice to spend some time down and around. Are you out of dry ice yet to make those low clouds?

I love #1 and #7. Just lovely comp and conditions. I may be wrong but my "mountain' guess for #1 would be Dragons Back and Wildhorse Peak.

You're killing me man! What a haul.
#3 is a home run and I love the cloud reflection in #7. I'm going to have to start stalking you.

Kane, Wildhorse Peak is out of frame to the left. I can say with 100% certainty that the peak on the right in #1 is Coxcomb Peak.

Wow Todd! Great series. I like #3 and #8 but #9 makes me wonder if there are fish down there :)

You are having an unbelivable summer for images, TC! All are great, but I do like #2, #3, and #8 the best. :toast: :toast:
