Last week I went on a long trek in the Sawtooth Range in Idaho. I've been wanting to see this range for many years so it was great to finally do so.
The weather was totally sunny for much of the trek which was a bit boring for the photos, but I did get lucky with some clouds at the beginning and end of the trip.

Lots of great shots there, Jack, as is your norm! I think the most intriguing shot is the blue Twin Lakes, great comnposition and awesome mountains over beautiful blue lakes, definitely a place I could spend days at.

They are all excellent, but the opening shot of the Sawtooths is incredibly beautiful. Thanks for showing these!

You make me wish my legs were 30 years younger. Twin and Bushwack Lakes look rather photogenic to me. I like the mottling of the blues and greys in the image you posted here.

"You are the premier mountain photographer!!"
And I couldn't agree more! Your work has a way of making me feel like I'm right there, which is an enormous privilege. Nice to see this area that doesn't seem to get much attention from photographers. Love the wild hot springs dotted throughout Idaho, as well.

Great stuff, Jack! I actually like the twilight shot best--those type shots are really tough to pull off and i really like your comp there. Looks like an epic trip!
You had some great calm conditions for amazing reflection shots! Outstanding! The only possible suggestion would be just to ask if you caught some shots of just the scenes and their reflections without any foreground elements? I think the symmetry of that type of shot would make such incredible abstracts out of them.
