Grand Canyon Roundup
Well, here's the rest of my Grand Canyon pics. Let me know what you think.

#1. This first one was taken with the very last bit of light before the sun went down below the rim minutes after this one.

I can't even begin to pick a favorite from those. All of them are spectacular with wonderful light and expertly composed. :toast:

Fantastic! Great payback for 3 days work.

Excellent work Phil!!
Unfortunately I missed the monsoon by 2 days. I had nothing but blue skies and no clouds for the three days I was on the north rim including a trip out to Toroweap!!

The high drama lighting photos are stunning! A personal favorite might be the first, but they are all great. I also tend to like simple shots shots that are well placed, like the fern near campground photo. It's pretty sweet. A wonderful collection.

These are some seriously sick images of the Canyon. Thanks for sharing. I like them all a lot but #7 is the jaw dropper for me.

Wow, what a great collection.

Amazing images! The last is very dramatic. Like the drops of water on the flower as well.

The hits just keeeep on comin'! Great, great series, Mr. Noll.

I like them all a lot except for the bison shot. In fact, this series makes me want to turn in my camera. Good work, Phillip!

Plenty of great keepers from the week. The monsoons treated you very well. #8 some highlights on the near rocks look too saturated w/ orange to me.
When you went to Fence Point, did you get any images looking south towards Steamboat?

Just about the best series of images I've seen at this forum. These are the weather conditions that all photographers hope to get when there, so you hit the lottery here, Phil.
Not only are the GC images gorgeous, but I like all the others that you posted here, too.

Thanks for all the comments everyone! :toast: It was a great trip with great weather. Except for that lighting storm over our heads during a 5 mile hike! Too close for comfort!

@Steve: Yeah, we had great luck with the timing of the monsoons. We had rain 4 out of 5 days!

@Jon: What?!! You don't like my beefalo!?? (I just threw it in for fun!)

@Doug: I'll check on the saturation in #8. Thanks. I do have some images of Steamboat from Fence point. Nothing to write home about but maybe I'll post one later.

@Jimmy: All my life I'm being told when to stop. I don't know what I'm doing all I know is I don't wanna stop!
Redonkulous?? I like it!
