Hi Danny! Welcome to the Pacific Northwest. I was born and raised in Portland and would love to move back. Its a great city with great nature photo opportunities within a short drive. (I can't complain since I'm only 45 minutes from Rainier)

Good luck in Portland and I hope to meet you at one of the PNWNP events.

Nice! Wish I was still up there!
Please note:

CLOUDS - wonderful, interesting, swirling, beautiful image-enhancing CLOUDS.
GREEN - I know you've already hit the Gorge! GREEEEEEEEN .
COOOOOL temps...
PEEEPLE - way fewer PEEPLE

Enjoy!

Sandy - grumpy in dry, hot, boring Cal

Welcome Danny!! I've enjoyed your NW photography for so long that it's been hard for me to remember you weren't already living here. Mark Sept. 17 on your calendar; we are getting together for a bit of coffee at the River Maiden in Vancouver. Hopefully you can meet up with us!

Hi, and welcome to the Great NW, Danny! Very colorful shot of Portland. Look forward to photos from more of your local adventures. And hope to meet you at one (or more!) of our get-togethers for visiting and shooting.

Ha-ha, Sandy is GREEEEN with envy at leaving these nice COOOL temps and fewer PEEPLE behind for NoCal! Visit soon, Sandy.

Welcome. I spent 3 years out of state in the last 25 years, and they were the hardest years of my life (well, except maybe middle school ;-). Welcome to your new home.
