I hope that got your attention. I have a place above the toilet in the master bathroom that needs a nice waterfall print. I know...it's hardly a compliment to a trophy pic to put it over the toilet, but the wall needs something there, and I have a nice photo of Edith Creek and Mt. Rainier that would look great there.
My question is this: What is the best print method for a something that will go on a wall with a daily dose of shower humidity: Canvas Print? Something with or without glass?
Really....I do want to know.

Marylynne have you tried talking with any of the larger printing houses like WHCC (White House Custom Color... WHCC.COM?) You may want to look over their "products" they have options like laminating your print to masonite, or "Stand out" where they are mounted to styrofoam with just the print on the front surface and ready to hang. Obviously hanging in a bathroom with years of changing humidity makes this a special mount. If you call WHCC their customer service may be able to suggest a good solution. Another idea might be to mount your print (dry mount by a framer or I use 3M's spray mount on the back, then afix to fome core and add a mat.) Take the matted print and put in a wood frame but first apply a continuos bead of latex calk on the inside of the glass. Then add another bead to the back of the frame and double backed tape along the outside edge of the frame and stretch dust cover paper over the back or use plastic sheeting. Sounds like a lot of work but I would think the latex caulk on the glass and back would deter damage from humidity. Good Luck!
