In addition to the rainbow previosly posted, which lasted nearly two hours, we were able to photograph Susie Yazzie in her hogan working on the wool for her rugs, and also a sheep run with her daughter Effie.

#4 Lone Tree. Effie Yazzie's father is said to have planted this tree in 1949. I liked how the light and shadow played on the scene.

#5 Arch just northeast of Yazzies ranch. (cannot recall the arch's name)
I have also posted a pano of the rainbow in the Landscape/ESS gallery.
Again, all suggestions are welcome.

All are good, Doug, but, #1 is my favorite. How did you get access? Through a guide?

Great shots. Really like 1 & 2.

What a coup! Such unique work from one of the most photographed places on earth.
These are all superb, with special praise for the first two and the original composition of that tree in #3. Everybody and their mother (and me) have framed the arch with that tree. But I sure do like this take. Way to go, Doug! I sense some 'Arizona Highway' material here.
Excellent series, and I agree that #1 is something special! But, all are so well done.

Doug, this entire series looks awesome to me! Very hard to choose a fav, but I think 3 is it for me with 4 right behind it. I also love the comp is 5 as well.

One of the photographers is personal friends of the Yazzies, hence we were able to visit them and their property.
