A quite cavernous bag that's stood me the test of time is the lowepro reporter 650aw. I've one Mk1 version that is still in excellent condition after 8/9yrs solid use, and I've also got a couple of Mk2 versions. A couple of downsides... there're so many pockets you can easily loose things for ages in it, and it's big enough to easily overload your shoulder!

I think the answer will depend on how much you want to put in it, Paul. How many camera bodies and what lenses would be a good start.

Hi Paul. I am a massive fan of the Think Tank range of which I have several. Perhaps you should look at the retrospective and urban disguise bags.
My bags have been kicked around boats and safari trucks many, many times without once letting me down.:wink
