First the fire report.... I didnt see any fire damage from FR 86. There was a closed road west of FR 124 at the far west end. This road isn't suited for my vehicle so I haven't used it much but it can go threw to 132. I went around to FR 132 and headed back east. The road where 114 splits is closed.(132 is closed) However I have a good source that says... The fire is in this section starting just before where 124 comes in and has burned all the way past the overlooks to the sign that says Ouachita Trail 300 feet. I or umm my source couldn't really see how far out the fire went due to it being after dark. From what you can tell by the road it doesn't seem to be a really hot fire. But I'm guessing they preburned that area to stop the fire. The entire area that I shot my lightning picture from is burned.

Love the colors Tim and the smoke gives gives it a nice foggy apperance.

Tim, I really like this pano, everything about it flows very well. The dreamy look created by the smoke and soft pastel sky was very well captued!

I like the pano, Tim - beautiful shades of blue in the center section, and nicely done overall.
I really like the feeling of depth you've created here, with the progressively denser layers of smoke from from FG to BG - giving more definition to the landforms that would otherwise look rather ho-hum. And as the other guys said, the blues and pinks are really nice too. I would like to have seen a little more of the clouds that are cropped on the far right. But overall, a very nice image. Thanks for posting!

Thanks for the comments guys. I particularly like how nicely Tim B points out that I didn't get the processing just right. I'm going to do it again the right way and see if I cant get it better. I don't want to be a photoshop expert but it seems like I always want to be just a little better. I have a dark version that I like but I'll spare you from it.
