I just got my renewal notice and I'm trying to decide if I want another year of Todd kicking my butt or not.
Seriously though, I am intending to renew because I feel this is a great place to learn to become a better photographer. The critiques are extremely important, getting information on locations is worth the cost alone and the tips from John Mumaw are mind boggling...you can't get these tips too many other places for free...I have a special folder for his comments. The shindig is great for meeting old and new people and the friendships gained are awesome..need I say more. All this for $49.00 a year...WOW!!!
I'd be interested to know what others think and if you all plan on staying around for another year or so.

Though I tend to be suspicious of any organization that would allow someone like me to be a member, I'm in. After 20 years in the photo biz I thought I knew a lot but this board shows me time and time again how little I really do know. Plus, the shindigs (Don't forget the Moab Spring get together) are a hoot. I'm in again when renewal time comes around.

I'll renew for sure. I haven't been that active in the forum because real work continues to get in the way but the people here are super. Any time I need advice or whatever someone is always willing to help.

I've renewed every year for the last 9 and I think y'all are stuck with me for another 9, at least. For that I apologize.

Already did. Although I have been in the photo biz many years, landscape is relatively new to me and this forum has helped shorten the learning curve. I agree with the comment that reliable and honest feedback is one of the strongpoints here.

Sheesh, Jim must've sent you a nice, fat check for that love letter, Jack! But you're right, there is NO forum that can touch this one, mostly, if not completely, because of its membership.

Best $50 I've ever spent and all I've gotten around to is posting in this forum. I'm excited to meet you all at the next shindig (whatever that may be?) I look forward to being around for many years to come

I'll renew. I just like the company we keep here.

Here's the thing...we are BY FAR the most active forum because we post a lot of images and come up with fresh topics and that's what makes us successful.
And no, Todd..Jim didn't pay me to say that. Usually he and I are at odds over changes he wants to make to the site

Best 13 cents a day I've ever spent! This and the other forums are a collection of rare individuals with just as rare talents and selflessness. "Nobody does it better."

Just renewed about a month and a half ago. While my participation has been spotty lately, I hope to fix that soon.

Already renewed again for another year and plan on keeping on renewing as long as people can stand me :)

The brain trust here (and I am NOT being sarcastic) is most definitely worth the cost!

The NPN forums have went way down hill in the last year in my opinion, but the RMNP group seems to be the one group that has stayed together. I'd have to say it's worth it for this group alone.

I was here years ago when it was free and saw the value of joining for just $49 a year. I'll be around...I may not post much, but I peek every day.

I can't even calculate how much information and learning I have pulled from this place..it is invaluable! Just to even see the work that is posted by the many (and I mean MANY) talented people on here and learn from looking at the work and studying it is incredible....then to top it off from all the excellent advice and critiques is icing on the cake. Can't imagine not being a member.

I plan on sticking around. I have really learned a lot from other photographers. And met some great people along the way. Just need to make it to one of the shindigs!
