Well, since it will probably be a couple weeks before i get out for some real photography, just thought id share one from a hike i took a couple days ago--up Spread Eagle Peak in the Sangres (just ask Kane what a fun-filled slog up scree and talus that is...) I didnt even bother with bringing a tripod cause it was mid day and cloudy, but i did find this cool lichen covered rock at about 13,000 feet so i took a few pics. It was a little blurry due to handholding it, so i thought to cover that up id crank up the saturation a bit Hope you're lichen it as much as i am...i feel very empowered sliding that sat slider to the right...

Nice stuff Stan...I am always a sucker for abstract stuff and this fits the bill for me!

I'm always on the lookout for lichen. Glad you didn't push the slider any further.
You'll just have to return with a tripod.

nice abstract, Stan! And I'm lichen it too!

Cool abstract! I think it needs a bit more saturation.

Have to say this is one of my favorite shots from you. Well done.

Stan, I love the saturation. The range of color is pretty impressive. I don't remember seeing this patch of lichen up there...

A wee bit neon, but if you can't add a bit of saturation to a field of lichen, where can you? I liche it.

You really licked that lichen! Your sliding certainly made it pop!
