Here is a couple shots from a week ago of an Eastern Kingbird. I am currently up at Teton and Yellowstone and am hoping to finally have something different to share and get critiques and feedback on soon....but so far after 2 days the wildlife doesn't seem to be cooperating too much

More great shots. You've probably also been asked this before, but what camera and lens are you using to get these shots? I certainly can't blur-out the backgrounds like that with a four-thirds system! That way I can use that information for more ammunition to get my wife to agree to let me replace my Olympus equipment. Just because we are both unemployed, shouldn't keep me from upgrading...

The pose in #2 is perfection.
Hey, Jim. You can also tell your wife that the upgrade is urgent, while the old super-teles are still available at prices that don't require organ donations.

Both are excellent poses...just as sharp as can be! The gradient backdrop is magnificent, too.
Seems like the olden days when I used to critique your 'development' of certain images. Boy, those days are over!
I'm really not sure that it gets any better than this, Kurt.

Absolutely beautiful portraits! Hope you get some critters up there!
Beauties both, Kurt! That first one would be splendid by itself, but the more dynamic pose in #2 puts that one over the top for me. And the creamy blue and gold backgrounds are just wonderful!
