Any word yet on what kind of foliage is popping out in the Steamboat/Yampa/Steamboat Lake area and where?

I'll be in that area Sept. 13-15. I'll report back on what I find. I suspect it'll be a bit early but who knows.

I will be in Steamboat Oct 1-7. I have a time share in Steamboat the first 2 weeks of July every year, and I was in Steamboat in the last week of Sept 2009. I'm told that the best foliage normally appears in the last week of Sept. Though I've been in the area often, I'm still learning the photo locations and best times (of year and day). Rod Hanna of this RMNP forum has done two books on the area. Buy them!!!
And, Bret, I've been to Moab 3 times. I'm considering a return, especially to Fisher Towers, Goblin Valley State Park and Little Wild Horse Canyon. I drive a 2001 Jeep Wrangler.
