Tom: Your email format or something is incorrect...this just gets returned to me, but would like to answer your question re: kayak
Hi Tom,
Here is a link to the Native Watercraft site: http://nativewatercraft.com/boat_overview.cfm
Mine is the 14.5 Solo Ultimate so I'd have room for my dog, too! It looks like they are not making it anymore, but mine is like the propel (foot pedals), but with a trolling motor. I can switch out both if wanted.
VERY stable….I cannot flip it. I use it on the Delaware River, Lake Nockamixon, and have used it on Charleston Lake in Canada and in the Delaware Bay, too. I Love it! I shopped long and hard for a kayak a couple of years ago, and this is just
what I wanted. I feel safe enough to take my camera gear with me and I can get to places where our boat cannot go. People stand in them…I don't trust my knees that much. Great for fishing and photography!
I purchased it from a place in NJ…The Jersey Paddler and got in on sale because it was a year earlier model. I do have to register it here in PA because of the motor.
If you need any more info…just holler! (BUT, PLEASE leave me your correct email)!

Butting in: I looked at this post out of curiosity but feel compelled to chime in. I own two Native Watercraft boats, a solo and a tandem that converts to a solo and I can vouch for their stability. They were designed for fishing so that you could stand up to cast. I can't (joints to old and creaky) but they are that stable which is a real plus for photography. They also sell deck covers for some models so that you can have more like a kayak than an open canoe. I "LOVE" my Native Watercraft boats.
