Just want to bitch. I ordered a medium ICU from FStop 3 MONTHS ago. I know their sales have exploded and it "caught them off gaurd", but this is rediculous. I already called a month ago and was told then that the product was "on the water" and should be goin out in a couple of weeks. How many sales are they loosing because of this type of response time?
Bill Pelzman was kind enough to loan me his medium and it worked out great for my hiking in Oregon this summer. I want to keep the order in but at some point I'm going to say F it and try and find another solution. Stepping off the soapbox now.....

If you want to try one of Mountainsmith's cubes let me know, its a little different design but it might work. I'm not far from you if you are interested.

The issue is not that their sales have exploded, they just run the supply chain and inventory management terribly int he company. Trust me I ordered my pack from them long before they grew big in the landscape photography community, before they ever started sponsoring the big names etc. Even then it took 4-6 months to get my pack from them. The issue is how the company is run, and I honestly doubt they really keep much of any inventory on hand.
Don't get me wrong, I am not at all dissing the company or quality of their products, because I like my pack quite a bit and the guys who work there have always been very nice with me. I just don't think it is an issue of all the sudden they are slammed.

Internal Camera Unit..designed to fit the fstop packs and store camera body and lens nicely leaving the rest of pack for whatever. It is nylon covering a zippered box with stiff foam for the sides.
