The olympic mountains on the eastern side from the duckabush river south is putting out some amazing sunsets from the forest fire there. I was there last night but had to leave before the colors began, to get to work. Got near seabeck and looked back, should have stayed and been late. Will be there tonight and hopefully it will still produce those amazing sunsets i've been seeing from work at bangor. If you know the area around Holly or Dewatto area, it would be worth it. :) I left at a little after 8pm last night, and missed the color. But still got some nice other shots. This is shooting across hood canal, so you may need a long lens.

This is a very nice shot Cliff. I love the layers and colors. Great comp with the rugged peaks.

Very nice Cliff, but I'm spoiled by the one you posted in Landscape .

Nice layers and sunstar. I also really liked the one you posted in the Landscape gallery.
