I haven't seen anything yet posted about the fall colors this year. I just realized that I was shooting peak colors on Kenosha Pass on September 16th last year. Has anyone been out and around to get some sense if they are about a week from peaking or if they are running behind, like most things this year? I'm wondering about the regular places and not just Kenosha Pass.
Thanks.

Yep, definitely time to retire the Wildflowers sticky and replace it with Fall Colors.

Sadly I haven't been out lately, but we have some friends in town from Australia, and they went to Aspen this weekend to see the sights. Anthony sent me this pic from Maroon Lake, shot yesterday, 9-10-11. Certainly not much going in yet, not that I expected too much. Sounds like Independence Pass is almost all green too, but some cottonwoods on the east side starting up. Just thought I'd pass along what I heard. Can't wait for it to get going!

It's definitely early, but man, I hate it when I am stuck here in San Diego and you all are starting to talk about the colors.
