I really hate to keep throwing out changes at the last minute, but I had a message on my phone at lunch today from the River Maiden. My original understanding was that it would be no problem to set a monitor up on a table so David would be able to show examples while discussing composition. I reminded the River Maiden of that when I confirmed on Monday, and they decided today that it would be too distracting for other clients.
Fortunately Craig Strand came to the rescue, and responded to my plea for suggestions by arranging a room to ourselves at the Elmers Restaurant in Delta Park. Amazingly, there is no fee and no minimum amount we must order. For those interested though, we can order off the menu as we please.
Below is a map Craig has provided with directions, and here is a link to the location on Google Maps.
So. Hopefully the final plan:
What: Coffee Roundup
When: Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 1:30pm
Where: Elmer's Restaurant, 9848 North Whitaker Road, Portland(503) 289-9848
I look forward to visiting with all who can make it!
