I thought PP might get a foot--wasnt brave enough to stick that figure in the 'official' forecast, though...i bet the east side of PP got even more (since Springs got 5 inches of rain!) Heres the summit courtesy Cog Railway. Hope Todd gets up there!

Is the railway still open then Stan?

David, it takes a LOT of snow to close the railway. This little bit wouldn't typically be enough to stop the train.

Kalin and I made an attempt this morning, but I never saw the peak before heading west. Kalin said he hung around for some clearing around mid-morning, but I don't know if that meant the summit was ever visible.
Hey Stan, a question: what would that amazing five-inch rain total translate to if it had been a snow event with a typical moisture content to the snow? Are we talking two feet? More?

Never saw the summit this morning. The clouds and fog moving in and out over Divide and Woodland Park were nice. I shot near WP through the morning then headed to the Sawatch range, up Lost Canyon Road out of Granite. First time up there, WOW, what a cool view(s). Downloading now, hope I got what I think I got.
