...then by morning there was a fresh dusting of snow and some low clouds begging to get their picture taken, so I obliged.

#6 The clouds cleared for a moment on a hike to a remote lake. I had to scramble to set up.

Wow, what awesome atmospherics! My favorites are #1, #4, and #7 - but all are stunning.
#1 for the beautiful sidelighting, and the peak peeking out from behind the clouds.
#4 also for the beautiful light and the strong diagonals.
#7 Great reflections!
I know that lake. I shot it last year, but didn't get anything near as nice as this. I bet you had the place to yourself. Well done. Everyone of these is a trophy.

Really nice collection of images, Jeff. #3, 4, and 7 are my favorites, but I like all of them a lot. Looks like this was a productive trip for you!

Just an excellent series, Jeff! A great variety and all with good comps, color, light, atmosphere. I guess my favorites are 1, 5, 7. But, not necessarily in that order.
Great to see these! Our school had been planning a massive hike that ended up getting scrapped due to this storm... I had no idea that Timpanganos was getting so much snow from it!
Pretty sure I was up at that lake from #6 and #7 back in June, when it was covered in last winter's snow... #4 and #5 speak the most to me, with the repeating patterns of the pines and the great impression of the size of the mountains in #5.
