Last shot before the big dump. Lots of heavy wind and rain off and on. Next weekend will likely be the very last of the best shots. Many of the early tulips have been toped, while the late raisers are just about ready to pop. I'll try a pano crop Monday and see what she looks like.
I will likey go up one last time next weekend. If anyone is interested, let me know.

I'm liking it also. I've always wondered what they do with all these tulips?

Randy, I really like this! The colors are gorgeous and the dark clouds provide a contrast that really makes them pop.
BTW, it looks windy... everything is kind of leaning to the right?
A pano crop of this might look really good...

Windy is an understatement. We had 15-20 mph across the deck. At the end of the day we were greated with hail. I did not know just how waterproof my D200 was. BTW, the Skagit area is the largest producer of blubs in the world. The bulbs are of much greater value than the flowers and only recently have the sales of cut flowers increased to a point that they are managed equaly as intense as the bulbs.

Randy,
Yep, I've been up and the weather hasnt been too cooperative. You did get a nice shot off before the rains started.

Thanks for the update! We were really close to going down today but gave up thinking it was only going to be wet and wetter. Looks like we were right.
We do plan to go next weekend, but it would have to be Sunday. I work next Saturday. Email me and we can make plans.
