My first fall image of 2011. Not sure if it is over-saturated and too dark...thoughts?

Jack, was this during sunrise?

Yes, Scott....about 7:00AM. Gonna go back there tomorrow and see if I can catch it with some clouds!

Jack you answered your own question......yes saturated and yes dark......I am sure you can work on it though.

What a drop dead beautiful reflection, Jack! Love that gradient sky, too.
Only parts are a bit too saturated and dark, to my eye. Drop the red saturation in the peaks (not the refection, though) and selectively lighten the darkest of darks and I think you have a winner.

I agree with the comments. Harness this and you got one nice image!

doesnt look too saturated to me--just a bit dark, nice one Jack, i should have just stayed at Twin Lakes, at least there's color there.
Beautiful scene. The saturation is fine to my eye and I don't mind the exposure. I suppose it could be lightened some, but I'm not sure it's really necessary. A really serene setting. Love the reflection.

There you are! And yes, I agree with you and the others. A touch too dark and saturated, and yes, I agree, worth every moment to get perfect! Man, Twin Lakes looks really low!

Jack- try Forebay reservoir for a morning shot reflection. Just around the corner from Twin lakes. Like your twin shot- surprised the Aspens are that good. Summit county is starting to look good.
