Folks
Today NIK announced the long awaited release of Color Efex4 Pro
...new filters and finally filter stacking
Anyone who has used this in the past will really love the stacking feature
Excellent. I love Color Efex. I have 3.0, but I bought it over a year ago (bought 2.0 and got a free upgrade to 3.0, I think). I wish Nik would be a wee bit more gracious in charging for updates. $199 is steep if you have 3.0, and I didn't see any signs that I could upgrade for $99 or something.

Jack, thanks very much for the NIK Color Efex 4.0 heads up and your discount code. I love the NIK products and the Color Efex filters. Having the ability to stack filters is a plus for sure. I did the UG this morning.
Marylynne, I originally purchased the NIK suite for use in LR (about 1/2 the price of the set for use in PS.) I purchased the Upgrade to Color Efex 4.0 today and it was only $85 using Jacks discount code (plus tax for WA state.) I was going to have the CD shipped but the lowest shipping choice added about $17 so I just had it downloaded over the internet. So the upgrade price may be determined by if you purchased for use in PS or LR/Aperature.
