I just returned yesterday from a week in the mountains (Colorado). Did some hiking and shooting. This image was from just below Weston Pass looking west.

I played around with some longer exposures in the near dark. I loved how the colors saturated under those conditions. This was a 15-second exposure at f/16, ISO 100.
Thanks for looking.

Rod,
Nice set all around.
I've got to be up in Keystone next week for work, and I think I'll have to make some morning excursions up CO9.

Great set, Rod. Cataract Lake is a classic and my favorite though I'm really liking the other 2 water shots also. Thanks for sharing. Might head up that way tomorrow or Sunday.

Rod, these are all beautiful fall scenes. Just love the golden metallic look of that flowing water. #3, the morning glow on the mountain seems a bit too yellow.

What a fine series! I especially like the last two. Great idea about using a long exposure in the near dark. That really worked out well here!
