Here's my attempt at photographing the moon over Longs Peak during Easter sunrise.

A Heck of a lot better than anything I managed to get in the Garden of the Gods, Sunday morning!

Holy smokes! That's an eyeful. Outstanding. I was tempted to say that I wish the moon weren't so close to Long's, but then I slapped myself for being greedy. Very sweet, Grant.

Nice work :toast: , my only nit pick would be to have more of the clouds and less of the treeline IMO.

Grant, don't forget our deal. You stay at my house, I get rights to anything you capture. That is a terrific shot. Wow!

This is awesome. I was out that morning too, hoping for a good moonset but the cloud cover was too thick here.

Great shot Grant. Those clouds really complete the shot.

Thanks for the nice comments. This shot was taken from Lily Lake. The cloud cover was so thick when I woke up that I almost went back to sleep. But it was so windy that I figured things could change.

Erik, since you were kind enough to let me stay at your house, I will keep my end of the bargain. I'll send you a 2 pixel x 3 pixel version of this shot and you can have full rights to that particular version of the image.
