I spent quite a bit of time earlier this year putting together what I thought was my "ultimate" tripod setup but I've been shooting more and more on the sides of hills where my over six foot height forces me to crouch down too much. I'm probably going to switch out to the extra-tall Gitzo GT3541XLS and am thus selling my GT2531. I've got it configured with an RSS leveling plate and Markins base. Everything is in mint (like-new) condition and only 6 months old.
If anyone is interested, please leave a reply with a method for contacting you and a price you think is fair. Cost to replace this combo new is just over $700 ($575 for legs, $50 for leveling plate, $85 for Markins base).

Here's a quick pic of the Markins base and RSS plate on the legs (head not included).

Scott, please call me at 303 319 4723. I need a new tripod, and would like to ask some questions regarding this one.

I got a question about the center column - yes I still have it and will be included with sale. I've only used the legs 4-5 times and still have the original box and receipts for warranty.

Sold. Now my dilemma begins: Gitzo GT3541XLS or RRS TVC-24L.
