Independence
I just posted this in Landscape--but what the heck ill post it here too!
This is coming over from Independence Pass this afternoon--snow was flying and the air was fresh! Ive been over that pass a couple dozen times, but never seen it looking this beautiful--nothing like a fresh snow on Autumn tundra--i even saw a few wildflowers in bloom at the pass! Met up with Todd this morn at Maroon Bells--and ive got enough shots to process to keep me busy for a while, but couldn't wait to at least throw out this preview.

Very nice Stan, looking forward to some of the other images. How full was the parking lot at the Maroon Bells?

Good mood in this! All you need is one of Dan's elk on the hillside!

In a word, dynamic! In another word, dramatic!

Not a better image that represents "things are changing around here!" I love just knowing this is the first Fall season snow of that elevation in Colorado. You captured it! Nice timing.
