Storm Brewing---Image, not a forecast!
On the last night of our trip, temps got into the 20's and when we awoke in the morning a light dusting of snow garnished the mountain tops. Clouds were beginning to form as a storm began to move in. Molas Lake was quiet an provided the mirror we needed for the reflection...isn't God great??

Killer reflection, Jack.

It was great meeting you and Kane this past week, Didn't see you in the San Juans, had to leave today, back to work Friday.

This one has a triple threat....excellent reflection, color and clouds! Nice work Jack.

Really fine image, Jack. Kurt said it perfectly.

The muted light really brings out the color in the trees.

I really like the comp! Might be a bit better a touch brighter. Nice comp!! :toast:

What a beautiful scene! Kurt did say it well.
I agree with Art about the need to brighten the foreground up some, though. Try this:
Make a Selective Color adjustment layer, choose 'Reds' and drag the Black slider left to taste.

You have REALLY gotten some killer shots this outing Jack and this is no exception :toast:

Really nice shot, Jack! I might be inclined to warm it up just a tad--or maybe just take out a bit of the cyan. :wavey:

Very nice shot Jack :toast:

Ditto on the comp being very good. And on the need for just a smidge of lightening.

Another echo here with the nice comp, colors, reflection, and a little brightening. If you are not averse, maybe clone out the white cabin/trailer.

Thanks for the comments everyone, much appreciated. For some reason when I post to this forum, the pictures are always dark but when I print, they come out just fine...maybe I need to process once for web with brightening and once for printing.

Doug, the final image will not have that bright white SUV in it.
