Welcome back Varina. How are the bruises?
Would leaves that are "falling" be practical as a subject. No longer attached to a tree and not yet on the ground. It would be sort of like birds "in flight".

Hi Verina, Coming up with ideas is time-consuming, isn't it?
Following up on Charlie's idea might be falling (not fallen) feathers.
And another idea might be abandoned and derelict buildings.
