I took a detour on my way to Ridgway Thursday as I had never been through Grand Mesa, by luck I had perfect timing as one storm was leaving another was rolling in, 5 minutes later I was in a blizzard. Any suggestions?

Great color in the foreground. Like those clouds as well. Looks great on my end.

This looks great, David! I like that lone 'Christmas tree' in the center of things, and the skies are ominous.
I would love to see a larger version. Do I sense a slight HDR treatment with the ever so slight lack of contrast? If so, it's done with finesse.

Thanks. Big difference! Something else I like is the contrast between the warm autumn colors and the green plains beyond. Something you don't see with most autumn vistas.

Looks great to me David!

Wow. This is very different from how the mesa appeared just a few days before. HDR use looks tempered and natural-looking to me. Masterfully done.
Nice capture. The storm is like a wave rolling in. Beautiful colors too.

This is incredible, David. The clouds here are over the top. This is quite remarkable.

I love the comp and scene, but the lack of contrast in the foreground looks off on my old monitor. Plenty of drama in this scene and the colors look like they were impressive.
