Nice Larry, yeah we here in Kansas know all about tumult.

Nice variety of colors but what I like most is the subtle soft light on your main subject, the tree trunks.

Really nice work, Larry. Great light and well-composed. Maybe you'll have a chance to re-shoot before the leaves are gone, when the wind is not so strong.
I agree that things have been slow here for awhile. I'm hoping to see more posts, now that better fall conditions have arrived. Any ideas about how to increase participation - photo of the month, weekly/monthly subject matter, etc.?
Bare trees and dark skies are one of my favorites! We have had a few clouds the last couple of days and boy have I missed clouds in the sky!
Yes things are slow on our forum. But I am to blame as well as anyone. Life seems to have taken over lately (work, teaching, grandkids, bike rides, etc etc)
Maybe soon I'll get out there......

Larry, it looks like the color is progressing nicely in your area. It seems we are in an in between time right now, hopefully there will be many more posts during fall.

6 repliesThis was taken on a farm-pond dam last Sunday afternoon. Wind was blowing and some of the Cottonwood Tree leaves were gone because of tumult.
Comments and constructive criticism appreciated
