Yikes!! Not all of them, but a significant number of 2011 shoots have lost all of their thumbnail images. It says they are there, but the content window is as blank as can be.

Running OS X snow leopard, CS3, on a MacBook Pro.

Can I get my thumbnails back? Or should I prepare to cry crocodile tears...?

Thanks for the help.

See if this helps--

Window->Workspace->Reset Workspace (or Reset Standard Workspaces).

Catherine,
the same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. I solved the problem clicking on the thumbnail with the right mouse button and choosing "Empty Cache for selection". I work with Windows OS, but I think it works with every operating system.
I hope it works for you too.

Emptying the cache worked. I had tried that but apparently it's best to do it through the Preferences for Bridge, where everything resets and the cache is emptied. That's what finally worked. Thanks for putting me on to that, Monica.

John, thank you, too, but that didn't do it... Appreciate the try to help, though.

Here's the web page at Adobe that contains instructions for the fix:
