Just spent the last several days in Glacier NP, what a spectacular place! This was my second visit, I just wish I had another week or so to spend. Thanks for looking and C&C if you want to.
#1 Whispering Pines - I was a little frustated by the all night rain my first night(2am arrival) and discouraging weather reports, and was second guessing my decision to go. Begrudgingly, and with low expectations, I crept out of my truck at 7 AM and saw this huge snow laden mountain rising from the trees and disappearing into the clouds, instantly any possiblity of regret left and I knew I made the right decision... photoraphy or not. This was from a little bit later that first morning after the clouds had a chance to break up a bit.

#2 Logan Pass Trail - Being up there with the all the snow was amazing! I kept waiting for that little Berle Ives-like snowman on a Norelco shaver to come zipping out of the pines. The pass was closed to vehicles for the season less than 36 hours later.

#3 Le Grizz - It was windy and raw, but he looked pretty comfortable. I felt safe here and he didn't seem to give a $#@%, too busy eating I guess. I bet Dan and Kurt would have had some amazing images with their big glass. I did crop this about 10%

#4 Lake McDonald - I was just hand snapping some quickies to get some ideas after review and found an interesting comp that I decided to work on.

#5 Kind of Blue - This was captured well after sunset, one in which there was absolutely no warm tones to be had. The scene was pretty blue naturally and set a nice mood.
Got a lot more to process, plus I'm holding back some for the Fall Colors Contest.
Thanks again for looking and C&C if you want.

I can't explain why but number 4 jumps right out to me and says "hang me on your wall"! Great series Jeff.
Nice shots Jeff! I had the choice to go to Glacier or Grand Teton but chose Grand Teton. Looks like you had pretty much the same weather conditions. How are the colors there yet on the Saint Mary's side?

These are all sickeningly good, Jeff! Congrats on the grizz.

Dean - There was still plenty of color left on the east side.
