Garden of the Gods update
Went out to the Garden yesterday with a friend visiting from Houston. Not much fall color so far, so there's still hope of extending the season. The scrub oaks and cottonwoods were, for the most part, showing no signs of change. I'll be going out there on a regular basis to keep tabs. Stay tuned.

This was just before sunrise, as the moon (and the Earth shadow that enveloped it) set. The exposure discrepancy was large enough that I took two frames and ever so slightly combined the moon from one into the overall scene, simply to restore a little bit of detail to the moon's surface and avoid having it look like a train's headlight coming through a tunnel.

Great color and the detail in the rock is excellent. Your usual fine comp with the timing dead on to capture the moon. You are making me want some time with the Gods, TC!

Some nice color--reminds me of my sunrise this morning in another of your favorite haunts (see post above  )

Great shot Todd, It's just been too clear for me every day. Tired of blank skies for myself.
