I admit it...on my days off from work, I like to sleep in, so this morning when my wife hit "snooze" instead of "off" on her alarm clock, I was a tiny bit irritated. Instead of going back to bed, I decided to go look for something to shoot. Since there were no clouds over the Garden of the Gods or Pikes Peak, I headed down to North Cheyenne Canon, and got lucky (I think).

Like the comp in the second image. I know what you mean. Was thinking of sleeping in and decided to shoot anyway. Glad I did.
