Shooting last weekend was a little challenging but I got a couple I like. I thought I'd share this one to see if my processing needs help. I use NX2 for my PP, so any suggestions in PS, you might have to translate. Thanks in advance, Josh.
A very nice image from a place that was reported as being subpar this year. I agree with Art, tone down the highlights just a little.

Really like the Vertical composition.

I also like the vertical framing and composition.
If the highlights are blown, then cropping as much of the sky as possible would reduce the distraction.

Nice composition and I like the colors in the foreground.

You got one of the few good captures of this area! When I went through there, all you could see was SAD devestation. Nice job Joshua.
Thanks for the feedback everyone, I appreciate it greatly. Thankfully I shoot in NEF (RAW for you Canon guys ) and was able to tame down those highlights in the sky. Here's the new file.

Wow!! I assumed those highlights were not recoverable. So glad you were able to do so. That made a world of difference!
If you're open for another suggestion and you use PS, Consider going into Selective Colors, choosing Yellows, and then moving the Black slider left to taste. That will really make the foliage pop.
Nice Joshua! Gorgeous conditions, solid comp and the sky in the repost works perfectly. I don't know anything about NX2, but John's suggestion seems good. If it were mine, I'd experiment with the red channel and midtone contrast to bring out that foliage. Some judicious dodging could help make the aspens stand out too.

Joshua, one suggestion might be to do a levels adjustment to make the snow on the firs and the aspen colors come alive, and then mask in that area to not affect the clouds and snowy peaks.

Great comp, Josh. Was this taken on Oct 6 ? If so I probably saw you! I was in the vicinity between 4:30 to sunset.

Great shot and comp! Love the contrast with the snow and colors!
Thanks again to everyone for the feedback. Don, this was taken on Saturday the 8th. Here's where I'm at with the processing. I brightened and added some contrast to the color, and popped the whites on the evergreens in the foreground. Thanks for the suggestions.

That which is now on your website is MUCH nicer. One small thing you might address is the very bright snow on the right side of the peak that appears to be blown.

I'd like to see the highlights toned down a tad if possible.

I'm having trouble posting a reply to this for some reason. If you'd like to view the 3rd round of processing, it's at...
