till we say its over...
Fall color was still good this weekend in the canyons around Denver, though I think tomorrow's storm may bring an end to the parade. I had the pleasure of running in Dan Baumbach in Eldo Canyon as well.
I know its been a long time since I've posted here. This spring I took a new job at Vail Resorts and had to move to Denver as a result. But life is finally starting to settle into the grove. I'm finding time for photography just as ski season kicks into gear. I'm looking forward to some fun.
Hopefully I'll see some of you up on the mountains this winter.

Great mix of colors.
It was hard to decide between Roxborough & El Dorado for a Sunday shoot.
Roxborough still had a lot of good color. Both places might be worth a trip after this storm.
Welcome to Denver! How close do you now live to El Do? Hope you got your fill of the Garden before leaving.

Thanks Bill. I'll miss the proximity to the Garden, but at the same time I felt I'd hit a creative rut there.
I'm happy to be back in Denver.

This is quite nice, Mel. The area around where I live (Lyons) is peaking this week, but the wind has taken it's toll on the trees. Welcome back to the Denver area. You're much closer to RMNP now.

Quite nice, indeed! What a glorious palette of colors you captured.
You're right...it ain't over yet. The cottonwood (and other) trees in the lower elevations are starting to explode with color.
