Headed out in the rain this morning hoping to catch a few shots. It rained all day but I found this hillside south of Highway 16. The colors are peaking in this area right now along Highway 16 between Pettigrew and Deer.

Nice capture Tom. The "wispy" fog leading from the center of the shot to tie in with the fog across the top is a soft accent to the brighter colors in the lower portion . It looks like a good day to get out and about before the real winter sets in.

Nice splashes of color Tom and the rising fog adds a wonderful element. Hope all is well, have a great weekend!

That's some amazing color, Tom. And the clouds lifting really add mood to the scene...my favorite time of year. Fantastic shot.

Great Fall image Tom. It looks like the Ozarks are really getting some nice color. I have never seen the peak colors in person even though my sister and her family have lived in the West Plaines area for 35 years or so. Some day I will.
