Can somebody help me with this bird. My guess is some kind of warbler or vireo but I can't find any bird in my book the looks like this one. The photo was taken in Dallas, TX in February.
Thank you.

And demonstrating piloerection. Must have been colder than the snow would suggest.

This mocker may be experiencing pterylooerection, but all that ptyloerection makes it difficult to see the filoplumes...what pass as "hairs" ("pilos") on birds. Feather erection = pteryloerection ....and this mocker clearly suffers NOT from the dread and potentially fatal, if not momentarily embarrassing "PD" for which no little avian version of the little blue or yellow pill has yet come on the market or been hawked on the avian Internet.
OK. SO I just woke up...and checked my email. The mind does strange things in the morning.

Thanks for the ID Luke, Nate, Jim and David. This photo was taken in Dallas and the mockingbird is our state bird and I have photoed hundreds. I should have known what species it was but I think the straight on view and all the fluffed feathers kind of faked me out. I've never seen a mockingbird that looked this fat! I guess because we don't get much really cold weather down here. This was the only shot I had so I didn't see other angles which probably would have clued me in that is was a mockingbird.
