Tis the season for a Witches Broom
Wishing all a peaceful visit from the neighborhood kids.

Definitely an Edward Scissorhands tree. Can you give it some space at the top, or is this crop straight from the camera? I like the way the clouds mirror the shape of the tree.

I didn't notice the clouds flowing similar to the tree until Marylynne pointed it out. Cool! Very nice silhouette, and a good theme for this time of year.

Thank you for the comments, I could not back up any more to get the full top of the tree. I was backed up to a ditch beside the road in east Enumclaw. Over a few minutes the sky went from a full blue to the cloud cover. :wavey:

Very seasonal mood in the image, Pete. I really like the tree in the half-light glow under that gauzy sky. Nice one!
( when I looked before, there was no image posted-- little glitch or something, I suppose; it was a treat to find the photo this time. )

Very nice Pete, the clouds echoing the tree branches are cool. Kinda looks like one of the views from my porch!
