I spent the weekend on the East Side near Bishop. Didn't do any photography but the outing was great nevertheless. We had lovely weather.
On the way back, we visited Yosemite Valley. The place is a riot of colors. The section along the Merced, especially, is simply gorgeous. If folks want to photograph those trees in full autumn splendor then this is the time.

Sweet! Thanks for the report Anil, that is great to hear because I've been wondering what the conditions are like. I'll be there Friday! Unfortunately though it sounds like a winter storm is rolling in Thur night and so looks be cold with some chance of rain and snow this weekend. Of course, unsettled weather in the valley can create some great opportunities as well.
