Hobgoblin House
Just going through some older files and forgot about this one from the Crystal Mill.

The weather was not the greatest and it was the perfect chance to shoot from a different angle and try some other things with the mill.

The name 'Hobgoblin House' came from a friend of mine in Australia.

As some of the conversation have been going on the forum lately, this was not shot with anyone but myself in mind. I try not let anyone in my head, especially when I'm shooting.

While I've not had time to comment on all the great fall images, I usually don't have much to say anyway. We all have a unique perspective and I enjoy seeing the same scene from different eyes. A lot of nice work being posted.

I like the second one better...reminds me of a recent post by Kane where you can look down the stream...nice comp!

I agree with Jack. I have not been to the mill. It looks pretty good, even with green leaves. Maybe next spring.

Both have great mood to them, and I think I also prefer the pano over the first. But, just slightly. Nice work.

I've never seen this view of the area before, esp. in the panoramic version. Real fine viewing angle!
I also prefer the pano., but I kinda like the light better in #1.

Thanks guys. I tend to favor the second image as I like to follow the river through the image. Hoping to get back there next year...we'll see.
