Santa Fe, Taos and environs next week

Hi Southwesterners....I've got a short trip coming up next week to Santa Fe, Taos and environs. Coming from New England. Not real well planned at this point, but would appreciate thoughts on your favorites spots in day-trip range.

We're at the El Rey Inn in Santa Fe, and just figured out that we want to spend a few days in Taos...nothing specific there yet.

Some ideas to get you started:

Kasha Katuwe - Tent Rocks National Monument between Santa Fe and Albuquerque
Ghost Ranch near Abiquiu
Taos Gorge near Pilar
Saint Francis de Asis Church in Ranchos de Taos

Thanks for the ideas...helps to narrow things down a bit.
